Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
Nextivo ("we", "us", "our") operates the Nextivo mobile application and the nextivo.app website (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and name through our authentication provider (Keycloak). This is used to identify you and manage your queues.
Device Information
Our mobile app generates a random device identifier (UUID) stored locally on your device. This is used to associate your tickets with your device so you can track your queue position. We do not collect hardware identifiers, advertising IDs, or device fingerprints.
Camera
The mobile app requests camera access solely for scanning QR codes to join queues. Camera data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or stored.
Push Notifications
If you allow push notifications, we store your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token to send you alerts when it is your turn in a queue. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
Usage Data
We collect basic usage data such as queue join times, ticket status changes, and wait times. This data is used to provide the service and calculate estimated wait times.
Location
We do not collect precise location data. If location-based features are added in the future, we will update this policy and request your explicit consent.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the queue management service
- Send you notifications about your queue position and status
- Calculate and display estimated wait times
- Improve the service and fix issues
- Communicate with you about your account or the service
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- With queue operators: your ticket number and optional name are visible to the business operating the queue you joined.
- Service providers: we use Firebase (Google) for push notifications and Keycloak for authentication.
- Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law.
4. Data Retention
Ticket data is retained for service operation and historical statistics. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
5. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, OAuth2 authentication, and secure database storage to protect your data.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for push notifications at any time
7. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
